Mrs. Black has devoted her life to helping those struggling with addiction and providing the light of hope in the darkest of times. Seeing a need for substance use treatment in a realistic and manageable environment.

Mrs. Black opened Kickstart in 1989. For the past three decades, she has positively impacted thousands of individuals that have crossed through the door. Not only has she helped restore individual lives to prosperity and peace, she has been instrumental in repairing fractured relationships between families and helping create foundations for generational bonds.

She is an accomplished substance use disorder counselor and has forged the path for other professionals in this field with her unwavering belief in this profession. She believes that accountability and honesty are the foundations of sustained recovery and provides direction for those looking to make significant changes in life. Her two greatest passions in life are being a mother and “Lolli” to her children and grandchildren and sharing her counseling abilities with those that are often overlooked by society.
